What is a deductible?

A deductible is the amount you pay for covered health care services before your insurance plan starts to pay. With a $2,000 deductible, for example, you pay the first $2,000 of covered services yourself.

What is Co-Insurance?

Coinsurance is the amount you pay for covered health care after you meet your deductible. 

What is a maximum out of pocket?

An out-of-pocket maximum, is the most a health insurance policyholder will pay each year for covered healthcare expenses. When this limit is reached, your health plan will cover 100% of your qualified expenses.
